Mission
Sikhona Inc. promotes health equity by supporting holistic wellness, health and resilience for individuals and communities impacted by cancer and trauma. We provide culturally competent, spiritually integrated education, resources, and congregational support. There are two focus areas:

- Cancer Awareness, Prevention, Treatment and Survivorship; and
- Trauma Awareness, Prevention and Treatment.
We see a world where cancer is eliminated and trauma is healed.
- Access to affordable, high quality health and wellness care services and resources within or contiguous to the local community in state-of-the-art facilities.
- Health and wellness practices are integrated into the all aspects of life; health care addresses the whole person: spiritual, physical, psychological, emotional, behavioral, social, and communal.
- Integrative medicine is the norm; health care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals including spiritual and faith practitioners; this team values and understands the local community and culture. We engage and value multiple epistemologies.
- Children being taught healthy traditional medicine, as well as, all aspects of the sciences and technology as they are being prepared for careers in health, allied health, science, technology, and counseling.
