Join us for our first public event 9 AM on Saturday June 26, 2021 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Willingboro NJ for our Men's Health Awareness Breakfast. Our keynote speaker, Dr Frank Chinegwundoh is internationally renowned for his work on prostate cancer and addressing health disparities in the Africana Community. Other speakers included the Mayor of Willingboro Dr Tiffani Worthy, Dr Wilfred Ngwa the Director of the Global Health Catalyst at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Nashon Hornsby Assistant Commissioner from the New Jersey Department of Health, and Carolyn Thompson the Service Director of the New Jersey Department of Health. A facilitated discussion on prostate cancer detection, treatment, quality of life, and survivorship will follow the Dr Chinegwundoh's presentation.

On Friday, September 25, 2020 Sikhona was officially launched with a Launch and Life Celebration which also recognized the one year anniversary of Vanessa M. Wilson being cancer free. In addition to the Board members, the guest speaker were Dr. Wilfred Ngwa, Director of the Global Health Catalyst Summit, Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology, Harvard Medical School and Dr. Kenneth Ngwa, Director of the Religion and Global Health Forum Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible, Drew University Theological School.
